The Matrix 4 Gets First Trailer
Warner Bros. has finally dropped the first official trailer for The Matrix Resurrections, and without a doubt, viewers are going to be seeing a young Morpheus as Lawrence Fishburne will not be returning.
Though a teaser had first dropped earlier this week revealing Keanu Reeves returning to his lead role, however, the first trailer shoved out any expectations that Lawrence and Reeves portrayed as Neo, now returned as Thomas Anderson - the name given to him by the machines.
Another new introduction is Yahya Abdul-Mateen being portrayed as Morpheus, a role that was previously held by Lawrence Fishburne. Abdul-Mateen is the new young Morpheus and is the character who offers Reeves the two pills - Red and Blue.
Carrie-Anne Moss returned as Trinity, and likewise, Jada Pinkett Smith as Niobe, Daniel Bernhardt as Agent Wilson and Lambert Wilson as The Merovingian.
Amongst those in new roles are Tony Onwemere, Max Riemelt, Christina Ricci and Jessica Henwick. The film is expected to make a theatrical release on 22, December
