Ronaldo, Lingard Lead Man. United To Beat West Ham

Jesse Lingard led Manchester United to secure a 2-1 victory against West Ham during which Cristiano scored the equaliser after the hosts got the lead.

United bounced back from the Champions League opening game defeat to Young boys by 2-1 on Tuesday as Ronaldo notched home the equaliser five minutes after Said Benrahma's deflected shot gave Hammers the lead.

Hammers' push to get a draw against United was thwarted by Lingard who curled in the winning goal a minute before the 90th. Hammers yet had a chance to equalise following Luke Shaw's handball in the box but David de Gea saved the spot kick taking by Mark Noble.

Ronald has now extend his goal streak to four and United remained atop the table leveling on points with Liverpool. More so, United remained unbeaten in 29 Premier League away games.

Lingard had just returned from West Ham after a season-long loan spell and he scored his first goal of the season for United that denied David Moyes' expected draw against United.
