J. Cole Admits Drake, Kendrick Lamar Are Bigger Stars In Heaven's EP
J Cole is making an opening confession of where he stands in comparison with Drake and Kendrick Lamar. Without confusing himself, he admitted that he may be a great rapper but Kendrick and Drake are yet bigger stars than he is.
The Dreamville rapper dropped a new single "Heaven's EP" on Tuesday. The track is a freestyle on Drake's "Pipe Down" - a track from his new album Certified Lover Boy. On that note only, Cole conceded to Drake, he is a bigger rapper to him.
Without miming words, Cole rapped that it seemed to many that he is running third and only settling for bronze in the race for the best but what is clear to him is that, both rappers are such "superstars" he can't be compared to.
"Success is in the effort/So if a n-gga tried his hardest/ I'm at peace knowing God ain't deal it in this group of cards for me," he rapped.
He continued: "Some people say I'm running third/They threw the bronze at me/Behind Drake and Dot/yeah them -ggas is superstars to me."
