Tottenham Get Off To Brilliant Start
Manchester City had a disappointing opening game against Tottenham in a 1-0 loss at White Hart Lane despite the absence of Harry Kane, who is now linked to the defending champions, City.
Pep Guardiola's men without a doubt would have been ticked by anyone to come out on top having on the pitch the club's new Premier League record signing Jack Grealish whilst Kane was on Spurs' bench watching as the game unfolds.
As Spurs will have it, Son Hueng-min lashed home a left footed shot from outside of the box for the winning goal just minutes after the break and delivered to the club's new manager Nuno Espirito Santo, his first season opening game victory in the Premier League.
City won the league title season having finished atop with 86 points and lifted the trophy for the fifth time - it was Guardiola's third title for the club since his appointment from Bayern Munich in 2016.
