Romelu Lukaku Scores Chelsea's First Goal In Away Win Against Arsenal

Romelu Lukaku has just proved his £93m signing from Inter Milan to worth it as he scored Chelsea's first goal on his debut return appearance leading the side to beat Arsenal 2-0 at Emirates.

Blues, who are the Champions League defending champions, retained their winning spree for the second time in a row this new season, putting the club in the top spot of the table alongside Liverpool.

In just 15 minutes into the game, the Belgian did a one-two ball the inspired Reece James to latch onto Matteo Kovavic's cross and squared a through pass to Lukaku for a tap in from a close range.

Chelsea doubled the lead when James smashed home a right-footed shot from inside box after Mason Mount located him with a cross. Lukaku, once again, had a chance to make it a third with a header but Bernd Leno palmed the ball over the post.

Lukaku left the Italian side scoring 64 goals in 95 appearances in all competitions within two season. He also led the attacking line of the team last season to snap the club's eleven years league title drought.

The defeat was Mikel Arteta's 20th as Arsenal manager and are now in the relegation zone after losing back-to-back the first two games of the season - the last time Gunners were in the red line was in 1992.
