Manchester United Agree Deal For Cristiano Ronaldo's Return
Cristiano Ronaldo will be leaving Juventus for his return to his former club, Manchester United, after it was confirmed that they have Juventus for the player's transfer.
Manchester City were initially linked to the player for a two-year deal that was worth at least £250,000-per-week, but talks failed and City recalled their interest in the transfer. However, he is set to earn even more at United on his return.
Announcing the agreement reached with Juventus, United said in a statement that the Portuguese deal is "subject to agreement on personal terms, visa and medical." It went further to caption a tweeted picture of the player as: "Welcome home, Cristiano."
Compared to what City are ready to pay in wages, the transfer is expected to worth more than £450,000-a-week, and making him the highest-paid player in the team.
