Kanye Files To Bear New Name

Kanye West might soon be a thing of the past. Done and busted with. Actually, this is regarding the artist but the name itself as we know it is set to change as a court will soon decide if the name can be changed to a new one. 

The Yeezy footwear mogul is understood to be considering bearing a new name. Obviously, that which he is often called and that is "Ye." He reportedly has filed for name changing from Kanye Omari West to just "Ye."

It is nothing new as he has often been called Ye. In fact, he is more likely to be called Ye than Kanye, but to finally bear the new name would require the approval of a court in L.A where he resides. Should that be given an assent then, Kanye West will become his old version. 

Kanye is presently having a divorce case going on filed by his wife Kim Kardashian. Fortunately, his $6b wealth will not be on the line as it is understood that they have prenuptial agreements.
