Hungarian GP: Esteban Ocon Wins First Race As Sebastian Vettel Gets Disqualified


Sebastian Vettel has lost his second runner-up position at the Hungarian Grand Prix final which was surprisingly won by Alpine Esteban Ocon won for his first ever race victory in his career. 

The start of the race was dramatically chaotic as there were a couple of collisions. Nevertheless, Lewis Hamilton seized the moment due a great start in provisional pole - he won the qualifying session final to start in pole. Eventually, he lost the lead to finished third until Sebastian's qualification leapfrogged him to second. 

Ocon delivered an incredible performance for a narrow lead to clinch the victory in 1.04.43:199s  over Sebastian. Six hours after the race, the German driven, who made his first podium position for Aston Martin, was penalised for fuel rule breach.  Thia means that he was guilty of having lesser than the required quantity of fuel in his car after the race. 

Missing out on podium position did a serious damage to Max Verstappen's title race for which he has overtaken by Hamilton with six points lead. The Red Bull finished way down in the 10th place. 

Another interesting moment at the race was Williams' George Russell for finishing in ninth place and earned two points for his first ever F1 points. In the third position was Ferrari's Carloa Sainz.
