Chelsea Resign Romelu Lukaku

Just after two season at Inter Milan, Romelu Lukaku is back in the Premier League and has rejoined Chelsea one five-year contract that is worth £97.5m.

Lukaku won the Italia Serie A with Inter last season and contributed immensely in terms of goals to the campaign that ended the club's league title drought of eleven years. He deemed returning to England this summer as an opportunity that is "just at the right time" for him to seize.

Speaking of his returning to Stanford Bridge, the striker believes he is "back with a lot of experience and more mature" than he was when he joined the club in 2014 from Everton for £28m.

The Belgian was signed to the Italian side from Manchester United for £74 in 2019, but his performance and goalscoring skill has since improve than he was. He scored 36 goals for the club last season, making him the team's top goalscorer.

Lukaku is the second biggest signing for a club in the Premier League this summer after Jack Grealish, who was signed to Manchester City for £100m from Aston Villa.
