Pep Guardiola Addresses Harry Kane's Link To Man. City

Pep Guardiola position on the possibilities of signing Harry Kane might have just brought the club's interest in the forward to its end as he revealed that they have been "priced out" replacing Sergio Aguero this summer,

Aguero left White Hart Lane after the end of the last term to join Barcelona and Harry is considered to be the suitable player to fill in the gap left off in the team by the Argentine player. It was understood that Spurs are considered a £100m bid for Harry, who has already asked to leave the club this summer.

Whilst City's offer might have sounded fair, Spurs that are already keen on keeping the player despite his request to leave are demanding £120m. That price comes at a higher plate for City, who are also considering Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

"At the price (quoted) we are not going to buy any strikers," the Spaniard manager explained speaking to a Spanish network TV3. "It is impossible, we cannot afford it.

Giving what the financial situation of the club is like, he went on to explain that it is not the best they want as they are finding paying players' wages difficult and might be forced to make do with the players they have already.

"We have young players in the academy and we play many times with a false nine," he explained further. "There is more of a chance we aren't going to buy a striker for next season."
