West Ham Sign Three-Year Contract With David Moyes
West Ham has completed the signing of a three-year contract with David Moyes amidst interest from Everton that had enlisted the Scot for his return to his former club.
Moyes finished the season leading Hammers to the UEFA Europa League after they finished 6th behind Leicester City in the EPL standings. He has only been the head coach of the club for 11 months.
"I am not asking for time. I don't think any manager can ever ask for time," said the 56-year-old manager. "But I think if you're ever going to give a manager time, it would be now, where somebody has come in and saved the club twice."
Meanwhile, Everton failed to make the qualification to any continental games under Carlo Ancelotti, who left the club to join Real Madrid. Zinedine Zidane stepped down role his role at club over loss of trust in him after losing La Liga title to Athletico Madrid.
