Manchester City Launch £100M Bid For Harry Kane
Manchester City have made a whopping £100m bid for Harry Kane amidst the player's request to leave Tottenham this summer. Speculations of Harry leaving the club have been around since last summer until mid May when he officially requested to leave White Hart Lane.
City's offer yet fell short of Spurs price tag for the England captain whom they are understood to have valued at £120m. The club's interest in the player is considered to be in a bid to fill the gap Sergio Aguero would leave behind on leaving Etihad Stadium to join Barcelona.
In the midst of this, Manchester United and Chelsea are also understood to be preparing to join in on the race to sign the forward since he is prepared to leave Spurs this summer. Harry topped Premier League scorer chart despite Spurs finishing the season in seventh.
At the moment, Tottenham are yet to find replacement for Jose Mourinho, who was sacked following the team's failing performance, and was replaced in the meantime by Ryan Mason. It was rumoured that club planning resigning former manager Mauricio Pochettino but that was soon shoved aside.
