Carlo Ancelotti Returns To Real Madrid To Replace Zinedine Zidane

 


Carlo Ancelotti is the new manager of Real Madrid following the departure of Zinedine Zidane who stepped down from the role because he felt the club has lost faith in him. 

The 61-year-old left Everton after spending 18 calendar months at the club to rejoin the Spaniards for the second time. He led the club to win the Champions League in 2014. 

He the club on a three-year deal which he described as an "opportunity" he least expected to happen having led Everton to finish in the sixth position for a Europa League qualification. 

"I have complete respect for everyone associated with Everton and hope they can achieve the exciting opportunity they have in front of them," said Ancelotti.
