Barcelona To Sign Eric Garcia From Manchester City

 

Barcelona are set to complete their second signing this summer as Eric Garcia will be joining the club on a long-term contract of five years from Manchester City.

Garcia's transfer to the Spaniards marked his return to the club where he started his football career as a youth before he was signed to the Premier League side. He will be the second player after Sergio Aguero to move to the Catalan side from City. 

The contract to be signed with the center-back, 20, is understood to have a release clause of £343m. On Monday, Barca completed a two-year contract with his former teammate, Aguero. 

Garcia only started in three games with the Premier League champions this season, but overall, he has made 35 appearances with the club in all competition.
