Tottenham In Talks With Roberto Martinez

Tottenham is working towards hiring a new manager by next season with Roberto Martinez top on the club's priority. Spurs are reportedly already in talks with the former manager of Swansea City and former Belgium national team head coach.

Spurs replaced their former head coach Jose Mourinho with Ryan Mason, whose contract as interim manager would only last until the end of the season which already is just about over. Still, the Spaniard is not alone in the race for the top job at the club as Brighton's Graham Potter and former manager of Leipzig, Ralf Rangnick, have also been linked to the job.

The club finished the season in the seventh-place that is beneath the spots needed for Champions League qualification and Europa League. The team's performance was one of the reasons Mourinho was dismissed.
