This Is Why Childish Gambino Is Getting Sued For This Is America

Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino, has a serious case on his hands and it is such that brings to question his hit track This Is America for which another artist has alleged him of rip off.

The artist rose to fame on the shoulders of the tracks This Is America, yet little did anyone suspect that the same song that won him a Grammy could be a sample of an original. Anyhow, everyone danced to it being a song that fit in rightly with the crisis in his country at the time.

Anyhow, an acclaimed true owner of the song named Kidd Wes has surfaced with straight-out claims that Childish's track is very similar to a track "Made In America" that he released on SoundCloud in 2016. Kidd also claimed he registered the song a year after with the U.S Copyright Office.

Kidd also cited lyrics from the Grammy-winner that sounded just very similar to his acclaimed original. As for him, that could not have been by accident. For these reasons, he is suing not just the rapper for damages, but the record label under which the sound was released and the backup singer on the track, Young Thug.
