SAG Awards: Daniel Kaluuya, Chadwick Boseman Top List
Just as other award ceremonies held so far in this coronavirus pandemic, the 27th SAG Awards night was held virtually on Sunday and had a handful of ethnic minorities taking home awards for their role in their respective dramas.
It was a rewarding night for Chadwick Boseman who was voted the winner of the male actor in a leading role for Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and was joined in the list award recipient by Viola Davis as the female actor in a lead role for the same drama.
British actor Daniel Kaluuya also received an award for male actor in a supporting role for Judas and The Black Messiah and British drama The Crown received two awards amongst which was Gillian Anderson receiving best female actor in a drama.
