Rapper DMX Hospitalized, In Grave Condition For Overdose
Rapper DMX is in a medical emergency and in grave condition after suffering a drug overdose that led to him being hospitalized. He is reportedly in a hospital in New York where he is believed to be in a "vegetative state" according to TMZ.
The Where The Hood At Out hitmaker was understood to have suffered a heart attack which was caused by a drug overdose at his residence on Friday. He was rushed to the hospital where he is currently in the intensive care unit and believed to have been brain dead.
DMX - originally named Earl Simmons - was one of the biggest artists of the 90s and early 2000s and began to have set back in his career after his divorce in 2014 from his wife and mother of four children, Tashera Simmons.
Since his career setback, he has been known to abuse drugs and had spent time in rehab many times. More so, two years ago, the rapper was released from prison for being found guilty of tax evasion to the tune of over $2million.
