Premier League: Newcastle Koe Willock's Injury Time Goal Force Draw Against Liverpool
Liverpool's quest to climb up to the top four just suffered a setback as Newcastle United cancelled out their lead early into the game to force a 1-1 draw at Anfield.
Red's had just come out clear of the controversial plan by elite clubs to form European Super League which took the sport by storm since Monday and was later ruled out following widespread protests and condemnation by football fans and governing bodies.
Mohamed Sallah gave the hosts the lead three minutes into the game and Joe Willock responded to that lead in injury time firing home the equalizer. Reds nearly went ahead in the last minutes when Callum Willock scored the winner that was later ruled out following a handball offense.
Willock's goal was his third in three consecutive league games, for Reds, they remained unbeaten at home in league games against their opponents through 25 meetings.
