Premier League: Man. City Lose To 10-Man Leeds United
Stuart Dallas' injury-time goal left Manchester City with a home loss against 10-man Leeds United who held on after Liam Cooper was red-carded in the last minutes of the first half.
Dallas got the first goal late into the first half before Cooper was dismissed for a rough slide tackle. He later canceled out Citizens' equalizer by sliding a right-footed shot through Ederson's legs in the injury-time. Ezjgan Alioski set him off with a through ball that he ran into and nailed in his second goal.
Citizens got the equalizer from Ferran Torres's striker after the break before Dallas' settled the victory for Leeds in the 91at minutes. The victory handed the side their third consecutive victory against Citizen whose lead on the EPL table got trimmed to 14-point ahead of the closest team, Manchester United.
Much of the second half was dominated by Pep Guardiola's men but soon after Torres' goal, Leeds regained their resilience to push for the winner which they got in the end. The loss left a chance for Manchester United to further trim City's lead if they won their subsequent games against Tottenham and Burnley.
