Champions League: Man. City Gain Upper Over PSG In Bid To Reach Semi-final
Manchester City took the head lead over their opponents Paris St-Germain a comeback to claim a 2-1 away win in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.
City, who are still Champions League title hopeful, had taken the lead scored by Riyad Mahrez before the Ligue 1 side went one-man down following the red-carding of Gueye for his reckless tackle on Ilkay Gundogan.
PSG went first in the lead when Angel di Maria's cross found Marquinho in the box for a header. The city later came strongly into the game after the break and that paid off with Phil Foden first coming from close before Kevin de Bruyne's cross found its way into the net and Riyad shocked their opponents when he converted a free-kick for City's second and winning goal.
