2021 Bafta Awards: Nomadland Wins Big With Frances McDormand Takes Best Actress
Nomadland had a big night at the 74th annual ceremony of the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) for winning big by raking up coveted awards amongst which was Choe Zhao winning best director for the film.
The event was held behind closed doors - its regular venue is the prestigious Prince Albert Hall in London, United Kingdom - following the coronavirus pandemic. Also, on the eve of the ceremony was the passing away of the Duke of Edinburg, Prince Philip, aged 99.
Nevertheless, the ceremony was held airing live from Prince Albert Hall on BBC and hosted by Edith Bowan, Dermot O'Leary, and Clara Amfo.
