Security Company Sued Tekashi 69 For Non-Payment of Bill
Tekashi 69 is often found going around with massive individuals as bodyguards, it could not be less expected that having such a security network would come at a hefty cost for anyone. So it is for the rapper who is now accused of non-payment of bills and has been taken to court.
It is understood that the rapper's lawyer has dismissed the lawsuit as "meritless" claiming nothing is owed to his security. But, Metropolitan Patrol - the providers of the security service used by the rapper - explained in their claims that they are owed more than $75,000 for a service provided for Tekashi 69 dating back to 2018.
In MP's claims, the rapper agreed on around-the-clock service at the rate of $85/hour in the day and $127.50/hour in the night. According to TMZ, the service also included armored vehicles, two police-style Ford Explorers complete with lights, siren amongst others.
Accompanying the claims made by MP was a breakdown of the payment structure agreed to by the rapper. Adding the cost of their legal proceedings to the unpaid fees, the company demand payment of nearly $90,000 from the rapper.
However, Tekashi's lawyer is not having any of the claims, rather he said the company should take their grievances to the rapper's booking agency at the time, which he claimed are responsible for MP's claims.
