Premier League: Leicester's Kelechi Iheanacho Forces Draw Against Burnley
Apparently, Leicester might have to let go of their title race as their pursuit continues to suffer a huge setback after a 1-1 draw against Burnley.
Burnley earned their opening goal from a defensive error that handed Matej Vydra the chance to slam home the ball for Clarets' lead early into the game. But, a brilliant finish by Kelechi Iheanacho volleying home Wilfred Ndidi's cross equaled the scores.
The hosts really put Foxes to the test but Kasper Schmeichel made tremendous saves to keep that scoreline at the draw - the closest was James Tarkowski and Chris Wood's headers saved by Schmeichel.
Burnley's goalkeeper, Pope, also faced a couple of scare from Foxes when Tielemans' shot clipped the woodwork followed by that from Marc Albrighton's long-range shot. Meanwhile, Foxes played without their playmaker James Maddison and Harvey Barnes over injuries.
Clarets' fight to stay clear relegation zone continues after four consecutive draws and are 15th in EPL standouts. Leicester have also drawn four out of their last six league games and are third with 50 points.
