Premier League: Chelsea Stun Everton At Stanford Bridge
Title-race ambition may be something out of reach for Chelsea, and they are relenting on keeping their place in the top four of the league table either under former PSG, manager Thomas Tuchel.
Blues maintained an unbeaten run under Thomas after winning 2-0 against Everton whose hope of climbing up the ladder to the top four met the brick wall. Inspiring the victory was Kai Havertz for drawing the penalty that Jorginho scored after his shot was deflected into the net by Ben Godfrey in the first half.
The goal margin could have been wider if not that Everton's goalkeeper Jordan Pickford made a tremendous to save the team from conceding more and what should have been Kaivertz's goal was disqualified over a handball offense.
