Kylian Mbappe Leads PSG To French Cup Quarter-final
Paris Saint-Germain are headed to the quarter-final of the French Cup having defeated Lille 3-0 during which Kylian Mbappe scored a brace.
The Ligue 1 champions took an early lead from Icardi's tap in and the lead doubled late into the first half when Mbappe converted a penalty and completed the victory by scoring the third in injury time.
Mbappe came in as a substitute for Icardio who limped off and two minutes later, the French striker doubled the lead for the team. PSG had played 10-man for five minutes after Icardi left the pitch with an injury that he was replaced by Mbappe.
PSG won the title last in 2019/20 and they are vying for the 14th title which would be the club's newly-appointed manager Mauricio Pochettino's first as he also pursued lifting the league title with the club that trail Lille who lead with three points clear.
