Jamie Foxx Signs Deal With MTVE
James Foxx and his partner Datari Turner have signed a deal with Viacom MTV Entertainment Group to write and executive produce original multicultural stories in partnership with BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and Other People of Colour).
Confirming the deal signed with Foxx, the company's Head of Talent and Content Development Trevor Rose, described the pair as highly "creative" individuals with boundless "talent" at their craft.
"Together, we share a vision of cultivating emerging BIPOC filmmakers and telling multicultural stories that will make an impact," said Trevor.
Foxx has just been called to reprise his role as Electro in Spider-Man 3 Benedict alongside Cumberbatch who will return as Dr. Strange in the film. He will join individuals like Idris Elba, Reginal Hall, Salma Hayek, and Courtney B. Vance, who recently signed a deal with MTVE.
