Premier League: Everton Forced Thrilling Draw With Manchester United On Stoppage Time
A dramatic stoppage-time goal for Everton from Dominic Calvert-Lewin forced a draw for the side with Manchester United in a game that witnessed three goals apiece from both sides.
Resilient Everton fought back from behind twice to get a 3-3 draw with Red Devils in the second half at Old Trafford to share points with the hosts. Edison Cavani and Bruno Fernandes' goals got canceled out by Doucoure and James Rodriguez's goals soon after the break.
After Scott McTominay had restored the lead for United with a header Calvert-Lewin turned the tide with a side shot that beat David De Gea to the net dead in the injury time - had United won, they would have leveled points with League leaders Manchester City by 47 points apiece.
This the second time since 2012 that United experienced such a comeback from the opponents despite leading them by two goals and it is the fourth that they failed to win despite leading by that margin since 1988.
