Premier League: Arsenal Fight Back To Beat Leicester
Arsenal fought back strongly to snatch a 3-1 victory against Leicester, whose title race continues to suffer a huge setback as Manchester City maintained a strong lead in the table.
Willian played a significant role in Gunners claiming the victory and inspired their first goal from Luiz David's header that canceled out Youri Tielemans' opening goal just six minutes into the game.
Leicester went further behind when Nicolas Pepe's curling shot caught Wilfred Ndidi's hand in the box and was ruled a penalty by VAR that Alexandre Lacazette converted. Foxes' defeat was sealed when Willian ran into a loose ball in the box and pass it to Pepe for a tap home for the third goal.
Arsenal won the game without key players like Pierre-Emerick Aubamyang and Busayo Saka that helped them through to the Europa League Last 16 on Thursday.
This victory happened to be Arsenal's second-ever league game win over Leicester at home - the hosts' 10 10th home defeat this season - they remain in third place trailing 13 points behind City.
