Premier League: Arsenal Fall 2-1 To Wolves
Arsenal fell to the hands of Wolverhampton in a comeback to claim a 2-1 home victory in a match that saw two of Mikel Arteta's men red-carded.
Nicolas Pepe handed Arsenal the lead curling shot into the net and shortly after David Luiz was red-carded, Wolves responded with an equalizer converting a penalty in the injury of halftime. Joao Moutinho completed the victory four minutes after the break with a shot from 30-yard.
Instead of Gunners to make a comeback, they yet suffered another red-card blow when goalkeeper Bernd Leno committed a red-card offense for toughing the ball outside of the 18-yard box in an attempt to stop Adamu Traore.
The victory ended the hosts' winless runs after eight consecutive Premier League games - their last victory was against Chelsea in December. They have now climbed to fourteenth in the table with 26 points.
