LeBron James Posts 96th Career Triple-Double As Lakers Rout Nuggets

LeBron James charged Los Angeles Lakers to outclass Denver Nuggets by 115 - 93 on their return to Staples Centre after seven games on a road trip and improved 17-6 maintaining the third position in the Western Conference standings.

James posted up a triple-double of 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists to take the lead to their third wins in a row, and following the forward in the standouts was Dennis Schroder with 21 points, two rebounds, and four assists. It was James' 96th triple-double making him the fifth in all-time NBA's career field goals list.

Nuggets began to slack from the second quarter as the Lakers dominated the game with James inspiring the team through taking an emphatic lead by the end of the last quarter.

Speaking after the game, James contended his teammates for being defensive against their opponents, and the team's coach Frank Vogel who commended the team for being offensive in the second half of the game supported his views adding: "When we put our minds to it, this team can do great things."
