Australian Open: Novak Djokovic Survives Scare From Frances Tiafoe To Reach R3

Novak Djokovic had to fight hard through the second-round match to beat American opponent Frances Tiafoe in a four-setter 6-3 6-7(3-7) 7-6(7-2) 6-3 as he contends for his ninth title in Melbourne.

Tiafoe fought back from a set down to claim the second set in a tiebreak but dropped the third set in a tiebreak allowing the breeze through the decider. The eight-time champion saved two out of three breaks faced against the American.

Meanwhile, the American had a frustrating moment with the umpire whose decision called "bulls***t" and also when he returned to his bench after winning the second set he said, "I love this s*** man, love it."

The tour defending champion break in the fourth en route to winning the decider after the American was served double-faulted to drop out of the tournament. The Serb will play American Taylor Fritz in the third-round.
