Robert Lewandoswki Makes club Record In B. Munich Win Against SC Freiburg

Robert Lewandowski is at another level in the Bundesliga having become the first player ever to score 21 goals in the first 16 games - the first half of the season - a feat he reached after scoring in Bayern Munich's 2-0 win against SC Freiburg on Sunday.

The Polish striker gave the league defending champions the lead finishing a Thomas Mullers' through pass that was later equalized by their opponents by Nils Petersen after the halftime break.

Lewandowski was near getting a second goal soon after the break but his attempt from inside the box caught the bar. Leon Goretzka attempt on the rebound was saved.

Bayern soon regained the lead with a header from Muller that settled the game and they went away with the maximum points that consolidated their table lead by four points clear of the nears team, RB Leipzig.
