Premier League: Leicester Claim Big Win Against Chelsea
Leicester City have leapfrogged to the top spot of the Premier League table after beating Chelsea 2-0 at King Power Stadium. As a consequence of the defeat, Blues dropped to eighth.
Foxes seized the first half of the game to secure the two goals that saw them through the game against their London-based rivals. It did not take long better than hosts gained the lead from Wilfried Ndidi's long-range shot from 20-yeard. Marc Albrighton let a through to James Maddison to double the lead with just three minutes before halftime.
Blues had had a penalty ruled out by the VAR for Christain Pu before Albrighton the lead for the side in a defeat the cause the side to drop to eighth in the table. In total, it was not the best game that Chelsea would wish for.
