Martin Odegaard Completes Loan Move Arsenal

Arsenal have completed the transfer of Real Madrid player, Martin Odegaard, in a loan deal that will last until the end of the season.

Odegaard is expected to be the club's replacement for Mesut Ozil who left as a free agent to join the Turkish side Fernanbahce. However, the attacking midfielder had been keened on leaving Bernabeu over his inability to get enough game time and has spent most of his spell at the club on loan.

"He seems like a top manager and I liked his ideas," said the newly-signed player. "The way he sees football and also the way he is. He gave me a great feeling and that was important for me to come here. He was crucial."

The 22-year-old was meant to return to Sociedad Madrid where he just left as a loan player from Real Madrid but Arsenal beat them and AFC Ajax to securing his signature.

Mikel Arteta described the Norwegian as the player with the offensive qualities that will fit in with the club despite being a young player. The player is expected to make his debut Premier League this weekend against Manchester United.
