Manchester United: Two Players To Leave This January

Manchester United will be having two players leave the team by the end of the month as the club continued to trim its squad after the exit of Jesse Lingard, who left to join West Hammer.

Marcos Rojo has agreed with the United to terminate his contract and will be leaving as a free agent while Facundo Pellistri will be leaving to join La Liga side Alaves on loan for the remaining of the season.

Unlike Facundo, Rojo is not linked to any European clubs rather he is set to return to Argentine where he is reportedly close to joining Boca Juniors. Meanwhile, the 30-year-old who is yet to make an appearance for United this season has been back in his country having treatments for his knee injury.

Confirming the termination of Rojo's contract, Ole Solksjaer Gunnar revealed on Friday that the center-back will potentially be going "back to Argentina, [and there is] a little bit of paperwork left to be done" for him to leave this month.

The two players will join Lingard who left United to join Hammers in a loan contract that will last until the end of the season on Friday.
