LA Lakers Rout Bolton Celtics In Late Thriller

Los Angeles regained road trip win after two winless runs by holding on to the lead to rout Boston Celtics 95-96 with Jayson Tatum posting a game high scoring of 30 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.

Kemba Walker was close to rescuing the side from the defeat after making a steal on Anthony Davis but failed to make a two-point shot that could have been the decider with six seconds remaining. Nonetheless, Alex Caruso was on the guard against Walker from connecting the basket.

Lakers manager Frank Vogel acknowledged the effort made by Caruso to deny Celtics the victory described the moment as "one of the best defensive plays of the year" for stopping their opponents from snatching the victory.

Davis finished the game with a double-double of 27 points, 14 rebounds, and two assists for the Lakers, while Jaylen Brown posted up 28 points, 1 rebound, and 3 assists. LeBron James had 21 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.

The defending champions, Lakers, improved 15-6 and are third in the Western Conference trailing LA Clippers and Utah Jazz respectively.
