Is Chris Evan Playing Coy About Reprising Role In Captain America
Whilst it was thought that Chris Evan has pulled the curtains on his role in Captain America, things have taken a new turn as the actor speculated to be in talks with Marvel Cinematic Universe on his return in the films at least for one last time.
News of the actor coming back as Steve Roger in the Marvel film according to Deadline quickly went viral because he had given his words last year on The Graham Show that he would prefer leaving the role on the high and an attempt to deliver that performance again in such a successful film might not be feasible.
Neither the studios nor Chris has come out to confirm the speculation to be true and the actor's reaction to the news might have suggested otherwise following his tweet. Instead of confirming the rumors, the 39-year-old reacted by tweeting, "News to me" accompanied by a shrugging emoji.
In a separate tweet, Chris sounded even more oblivious of whatever might have been speculated as he wrote: "Most of these gif responses are priceless 😂😂😂 good work, everyone."
Apparently, the chances of Chris accepting to revisit the film is very slim as he adamantly maintained leaving the role during the interview. When asked if he could ever consider coming back, he said: "It's not a hard no, but it's not an eager yes either."
