Cardiff City Dismiss Manager Neil Harris, Assistant
Cardiff City have dismissed its manager Niel Harris and his assistant David Livermore with an immediate effect having led the team to six straight defeats.
The team's 1-0 loss to Queen Park Rangers left the club in a precarious position (15th) with 13 points in the EFL Championship League. The club owner Vincent Tan thanked the ousted manager for leading the club to the playoffs last season, nevertheless, the management has no choice but to ask him to leave.
"As such, we have had no choice but to relieve them of their duties in an effort to improve results and league position with a change of manager," said Vincent. "I'd like to personally wish Neil and David the very best with their future undertaking and endeavours."
Harris was appointed to replace Neil Warnock and has only lasted at the club for 14 months before he was dismissed. However, it is reportedly understood that the club is in search of a new manager to take over from Harris.
