Arsenal Seized Injury-Time Goals To Reach FA Cup Fourth Round
Arsenal secured stunning moments in the injury-time to turn around the tides and made away with a 2-0 victory against Newcastle to reach the round four of the FA Cup.
Newcastle had chances to have taken the lead in normal time when Andy Carroll wasted off a glaring chance. Gunners, however, salvaged theirs with the first goal coming from Emilie Smith-Rowe and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang doubled the lead eight minutes later.
Being the defending champions of the silverware, the 14-time winners were rescued by Emilie who came in as a sub, otherwise, they were on the course for a shock third-round exit.
Arsenal will now join in on the draw for the fourth round - a stage they have only failed to reach once in 25 appearances in the fourth round.
