Premier League: Tottenham Claim Victory Over Arsenal In North London Derby

Arsenal's trip to White Hart Lane ended in disappointment as Tottenham had them beaten 2-0 to retain the top spot of the table and leveled on points with the nearest team Liverpool.

Two clinical finishes from Spurs' duo attacker Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in the first half wrapped up the victory for the side. Alexander Lacazzette had a couple of chances but could not make it happen for Arsenal.

The duo once again proved their combination to effective as Harry provided the assist that resulted in Son scoring the opening goal as the Japan international smashed a well-aimed shot from inside the box that clipped the crossbar and bounced into the net.

Son later reciprocated and assisted Harry on scoring the second goal with a through ball that the England international finished off on the brink of halftime.

The victory handed Spurs their consecutive North London derbies win over Arsenal for the third time since 2010 and Mikel Arteta has lost back-to-back derbies against their North London counterparts.
