Neymar Jr. Confesses Desire To Play With Lionel Messi "Again"

If there is a player Neymar Jr. would like to reunite with,, it is without a doubt Lionel Messi and he did confess that after Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 win against Manchester United in the Champions League on Tuesday. 

Messi already has until next summer left in his contract with Barcelona and it is uncertain where the striker's future lays as multiple interests are awaiting his departure from Nou Camp should he turn down a contract extension offer.

The duo played together at Barcelona for four seasons before the Brazilian star player joined the Ligue 1 champions in a record-breaking fee of £198million in 2017. Despite that chunk of money shell out by PSG, Neymar yet harbors the interest of either joining Barcelona, which did not work out when he requested to leave in the summer of 2018/2019 season. 

Neymar confessed his desire to reunite with the six-time Ballon d'Or winner while speaking to ESPN after his team victory over United and explained that he enjoyed time spent with the Argentine on the pitch at Barcelona. 

"I want to play with Messi again," Neymar told EPSN. "What I want most of all is to play with Messi again, to be able to enjoy him once again on the pitch. I'm sure that next year, we have to do it again."

While Neymar may have been perceived as dreaming, PSG are amongst the clubs linked to Messi being a side with fat pocket considering the signing of Brazilian that was later followed by a record-signing of Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool just within a months interval. 

Messi will be due to leave Barcelona as a free agent in June 2021 amidst interest from Manchester City and his present club, Barcelona.
