'How To Be A Player' Actress Passed Away, Aged 53


An American actress named Natalie Desselle-Reid has passed away following a protracted illness diagnosed to be colon cancer. She was aged 53.

The demised of the actress who was famous for her role in B.A.P.S as Mickey in 1997 was announced via a post on her Instagram account which described her as "an extraordinary mother and wife."

"It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beautiful Natalie this morning," wrote the statement. "She was a bright light in this world. A queen. An extraordinary mother and wife."

Natalie, during her acting career, worked with some high-profile individuals including Halle Berry in B.A.P.S, the late Bernie Mac in How To Be A Player, and Queen Latifat alongside Jada Pinkett Smith in Set It Off.
