Champions League: Ronaldo Scores 750th Goal As Barcelona, Juventus Win To Maintain Dominance In Group G

Barcelona and Juventus have both guaranteed their qualification for the knockout stages of the Champions League as they certainly will finish atop Group G in first and second position respectively.

Both sides won their games by the same margin against their opponents, but Lionel Messi did not play in Barcelona's 3-0 away win over Ferencvaros whilst Cristiano Ronaldo scored in Juventus' 3-0 home win against Dynamo Kyiv - The goal was his career 750th goal.

Federico Chiesa had opened the scoring before the Portuguese forward tapped in a through pass from Alvaro Morata soon after the halftime break. Alvaro later completed the victory with a low shot that beat Bushchan to the goal with an assist from Chiesa.

Barcelona had sealed victory from the first half with Antoine Griezmann leading the path to victory for the Spaniard by flicking home a low cross from Jota Alba followed by Martin Braithwaite finishing off a cross from Ousmane Dembele, who later converted a penalty to complete the victory.

The La Liga giants won all their games in the group and scored a total of 16 goals - their biggest since 2016/17 - to lead the table by 15 points. Meanwhile, Juve only lost to Barcelona in a game Ronaldo did not make the lineup and followed in second with 12 points.
