Warner Bros. Confirms Johnny Depp's Replacement In 'Fantastic Beasts 3'


Fantastic Beasts
 series will welcome a new cast in the role of Gellert Grindelwald in the oncoming trilogy following Warner Bros. confirmation of Johnny Depp's replacement. 

Johnny was ousted from the franchise following his failed libel case over accusations of physically assaulting his wife Heard Amber at the Magistrates Court in London, United Kindom. The film is already set for filming and it will be kicking off first in the United Kingdom. 

After Johnny had stepped down from the role as demanded by the studio, Mads Mikkelsen was announced to take over from the 57-year-old on Wednesday. It is also believed that Mads is already on set and has been cast as the new Grindelwald. 

Fantastic Beasts 3 is expected to make a theatrical release on July 15, 2022, and will have Michael Byrne and Jamie Campbell reprise their role. The trilogy will be directed by David Yates and scripted by J.K Rowling and Steve Kloves
