Manchester United: Ed Woodward Says Club Is "Committed" To Ole Gunnar Solksjaer
Manchester United chief executive, Ed Woodward, has given the club's position on Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, which he said remains strongly "committed" to the team manager.
Solksjaer was recently faced with heavy criticism over the club's performance which many have found unsatisfactory, having led the team to three losses and three wins that left them in the 14th position.
Ed revealed the club's position while making a comment on the club's first-quarter financial report and mentioned that United "remain absolutely committed to the positive path" with their Norwegian manager. Ed's claim might have just ended the speculations that the club is linked to former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino as a replacement for Solksjaer.
United claimed a 3-1 away game win against Everton on Saturday in a comeback that saw Bruno Fernandes scored a double, and Edison Cavani registered his first goal for the team since joining the side from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
