Formula One: Haas Driver Romain Grosjean Hospitalised Following Ghastly Accident At Bahrain GP

Bahrain Grand Prix ended with a superb finish from Lewis Hamilton who has already won the season championship title, but it was a heart-wrenching race for Hass driver Romain Grosjean, who cheated death following an accident.

The dramatic start witnessed the French-Swiss driver ran into the barrier and his car burst into flame after a collision. Fortunately, the halo team was just nearby and quickly rushed to his aid battling the flames with fire-extinguisher whilst he managed to get out of the inferno and was escorted out of the scene by the medical team.

Romain sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital afterward whilst the final race continued. The Red Bull duo Max Verstappen and Alex Albion finished behind the season champion Hamilton in second and third position respectively.

A clip of the 34-year-old in a hospital bed later surfaced online having his two hands bandaged. He later uploaded a picture of himself sitting in a leather cushioned chair on Instagram captioned: "πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘Thank you so much for all your messages. Loving life."
