Former Leicester City Star Snubbed Move To Sheffield Wednesday

Nigerian international Ahmed Musa could not care less about rumors linking him to a move to Sheffield Wednesday as that is nowhere near his dreams.

The former Leicester City player labeled the speculations as mere gossip because he has no plans to join any club that is playing at the European competition level despite being without a club at the moment.

Musa has won a number of titles in his career amongst which are the Russian Premier League with CSKA Moscow and the Saudi Professional League with Al-Nassr - the club he last played for.

"With due respect to the club [Sheffield Wednesday], I left Saudi Arabia to continue my career at the top level in Europe and that's the ambition," the 28-year-old explained.

Leicester won their first Premier League title the season before the forward joined the club from CSKA Moscow for £16.6m in August 2016. During his spell at Kano Pillars in the Nigerian Premier League, he was the top scorer in 2009-10.
