West Ham Complete Signing of Said Benrahma From Brentford
West Ham has completed the season-long loan signing of Brentford player Said Benrahma after completing his medical.
The winger was signed on Friday to the loan contract of £21million with £5m add-ons with an option to keep the player permanently, and the club is understood to have paid Brentford an upfront payment of £4million.
"I'm very, very happy to be a part of this team. West Ham is a historic club, which has been in the Premier League for a very long time," he told the club's website. "It included and still includes good players. It's a massive club in England."
Benrahma started his career at the French side Ligue 1 where he was signed to the EFL side in 2018 and has since scored 30 goals in 94 appearances.
"I'm delighted to welcome Said to West Ham United. He is a player who has had a lot of recognition for his performances with Brentford in the Championship," said Hammers' manager David Moyes.
He added, "Said is an exciting talent with a lot of ability and the right qualities, who will complement the other attacking players we have at the club."
