Los Angeles Lakers Ends Title Drought After 10 Years, LeBron James Named Final's MVP
Los Angeles Lakers have finally brought title drought to an end after beating Miami Heat to improving 4-2 and in the NBA Finals and their star forward, LeBron James was crowned the Finals' MVP.
James led the team to seal a 106-93 victory over Heats with a triple-double of 28 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists - it was the forward's first NBA NBA Championship trophy victory since he left his former franchise Cleveland Cavaliers.
Expressing how it feels to lift the trophy with the team that last appeared in the NBA play-off six year ago, the four-time MVP said,"It means a lot to represent this franchise."
Anthony Davis who is into his debut with the franchise added to the standouts 19 points tying with his teammate Rajob Rondo in the scoring.
Being named the Final's MVP made James the first player in the NBA ever to be with three different team - Miami Heat, Cavaliers, and Laker.
